CHECK DTC

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester ON.

  3. Select the following menu items: Body / Combination Meter / DTC.

  4. Check for DTCs and then write them down.

    Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.

  5. Confirm the details of the DTCs (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000020PY001X.html).


CLEAR DTC

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  2. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) (do not start the engine) and turn the intelligent tester ON.

  3. Select the following menu items: Body / Combination Meter / DTC / Clear.

  4. Erase DTCs by pressing the YES button on the tester.
