DESCRIPTION
Each of the entry and start system warnings use the wireless door lock buzzer to alert the driver. The certification ECU determines whether the wireless door lock buzzer must sound in accordance with the warning conditions.

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER) |
Select the Active Test, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

Disconnect the E63 ECU connector.
Disconnect the A13 buzzer connector.
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

3.INSPECT WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER |
Remove the wireless door lock buzzer.
Measure the resistance of the buzzer.
- HINT:
- The buzzer circuit is built into the ECU, not the buzzer itself. When battery voltage is applied directly to the buzzer, the buzzer will not sound.
