CHECK AUTO WIPER RELAY

  1. Disconnect the E66 relay connector.

  2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

    		Front washer switch is ON
    		Below 1 Ω
    Front washer switch is OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    E (E66-26) - Body ground
    		W-B - Body ground
    		Body ground
    		Always
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  3. Reconnect the E66 relay connector.

  4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    		Front washer switch is ON

    Front washer switch is OFF
    		10 to 14 V
    +1 (E66-2) - Body ground

    		Front wiper motor LO speed signal circuit
    		Front wiper motor is in LO operation
    		10 to 14 V
    Front wiper motor is OFF
    		Below 1 V
    +SM (E66-10) - Body ground
    		G- Body ground
    		Front wiper motor operation signal
    		Front wiper motor is in LO or HI operation
    		10 to 14 V
    Front wiper motor is OFF

    If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  1. Disconnect the A44 relay connector.

  2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
