1.CHECK VEHICLE CONDITION

  1. Check the vehicle condition.

    There are no settings in the Data List related to the AUTO position, so proceed to "A" for all switch positions other than AUTO.

2.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (MAIN BODY ECU)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and press the intelligent tester main switch ON.

  1. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the displays on the intelligent tester.

  1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

  1. Disconnect the E18 and E20 main body ECU connectors.

  1. Disconnect the IJ instrument panel junction block connector.

  1. Disconnect the E15 headlight dimmer switch connector.

  1. Measure the resistance wire harness side connector.

    Standard resistance:
    for LH Side
