  1. INSTALL 4WD CONTROL ECU

  2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL (for RHD)

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4Wd Control Ecu -- Installation


NOTICE:
When the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a normal one from another vehicle, perform calibration (RAV4_ACA30 RM000003GIS001X.html). If the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a new one, calibration is unneccessary.
HINT:
Calibrate the 4WD control ECU by performing calibration of the vehicle stability control system.


1. INSTALL 4WD CONTROL ECU


Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Install the ECU with the bolt.

    Torque:
    4.5 N*m{46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the connector.



2. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  1. Attach the 2 hinges to install the door.

  1. Attach the claw to the glove compartment door stopper.

  1. While pushing in the sides of the glove compartment door in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration, close the door to engage it to the 2 stoppers.



3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL (for RHD)

  1. Attach the 8 claws to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

  1. Install the 2 screws.



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
