1. INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

    Adhesive:
    Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent

  1. Using a 22 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

    Torque:
    20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where ball joint lock nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (RAV4_ACA30 RM0000018UO018X.html).


2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

  1. Install the intake manifold (RAV4_ACA30 RM000002WTQ04OX.html).
