Purge Valve Removal

Engine. Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35
2Az-Fe Emission Control. Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE PURGE VSV

Purge Valve -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE PURGE VSV


    Toyota Rav4. Aca30, 33, 38 Gsa33 Zsa30, 35

  1. Disconnect the purge VSV connector.

  1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

  1. Disconnect the 2 purge line hoses from the purge VSV.

  1. Remove the purge VSV from the air cleaner hose.
