Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY |
Apply a light coat of engine oil to 4 new O-rings of the oil control valves.
 |
Install the O-rings to the 4 oil control valves.
Install the 4 oil control valves with the 4 bolts.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m{102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed.

Connect the 4 oil control valve connectors.
| 2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY |
Install the intake air surge tank assembly (RAV4_ACA30 RM000002YO200RX.html).
| 3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
| 4. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK |
Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.
