DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE WASHER RR RELAY
INSPECT WASHER RR RELAY
INSTALL WASHER RR RELAY
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
2. REMOVE WASHER RR RELAY |
Remove the washer RR relay from the engine room relay block.

3. INSPECT WASHER RR RELAY |
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection
| Condition

3 - 5
| Battery voltage not applied between terminals 1 and 2
| 10 kΩ or higher
|
Battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2
| Below 1 Ω
|
- If the result is not as specified, replace the washer RR relay.
4. INSTALL WASHER RR RELAY |
Install the washer RR relay to the engine room relay block.
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
