Washer Motor (For Front Side) -- Inspection



1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the windshield washer motor and pump assembly connector.

    HINT:
    Make sure that the windshield washer motor and pump assembly is installed to the windshield washer jar assembly.

  1. Fill the windshield washer jar assembly with washer fluid.

  1. Connect the positive (+) lead of the battery to terminal 1 of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2.

  1. Check that washer fluid flows from the windshield washer jar assembly.

    OK:
    Washer fluid flows from the windshield washer jar assembly.
    If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
