INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly must be initialized (LandCruiser RM000001VJR08IX.html).
1.INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Check that the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly can be initialized (LandCruiser RM000001VJR08IX.html).

    OK:
    The sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly can be initialized.

Go to step 3

2.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000001YIS044X.html).

  1. Check for DTCs (LandCruiser RM000001YIS044X.html).

  1. Remove the map light assembly (LandCruiser RM000003YO9019X.html).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  1. Disconnect the W2 ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the W7 switch connector.

  1. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
