CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)

POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM - Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate


DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON and the window lock switch is off, the multiplex network master switch sends remote up/down signals to each power window regulator motor via the LIN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  1. Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system (LandCruiser RM000001RSO0BWX.html).

    OK:
    LIN communication system DTCs are not output.

GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (LandCruiser RM000001RSO0BWX.html)
OK


2.CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the multiplex network master switch. Check that the remote up/down function operates (LandCruiser RM000002STU0ARX.html).

    OK:
    Remote up/down function operates.
