INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEATER ASSEMBLY - HEATER PUMP ASSEMBLY) |
Disconnect the A97 heater assembly connector.
Disconnect the A96 heater pump assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

3.INSPECT HEATER PUMP ASSEMBLY |
Remove the heater pump assembly (LandCruiser RM000005TN8000X.html).
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

Inspect the heater pump assembly operation.
Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 (B2) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (E2), and check the pressure of the hose by hand.
- NOTICE:
- This inspection must be done quickly (within 10 seconds) to prevent damage to the heater pump assembly.
