Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat) Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  5. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  6. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat) -- Removal


NOTICE:
  1. Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
  2. If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat side airbag assembly, separate type front seatback spring assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
  3. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  4. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front seat headrest.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the cover.



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 claws and guide, and remove the cover.



5. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the foremost position.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the cover.



6. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 claws.

  1. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 4 guides and remove the cover.



7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle to move the seat to the center position, and operate the reclining adjusting handle and move the seatback to the upright position.

  1. Disconnect the connectors under the seat.

  1. Remove the front seat assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
