DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the Air conditioning amplifier assembly cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.
HINT:
The Air conditioning amplifier assembly controls the air conditioning system related items that are customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

    1. for LHD : LandCruiser RM000001RSO0C5X.html
    2. for RHD : LandCruiser RM000001RSO0BZX.html
    OK:
    CAN communication DTCs are not output.

2.CHECK AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

  1. Check if the air conditioning system is malfunctioning (LandCruiser RM000002LIM07YX.html).

    HINT:
    Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the air conditioning system.
    OK:
    No malfunctions are present in the air conditioning system.

3.CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS

  1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

  1. Make a note of the customizable items for the air conditioning system.

    HINT:
    These air conditioning system items shown as customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following steps, the GTS will be used.

    1. To match-up the items in the radio and display receiver assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the air conditioning system related items that can be customized via the radio and display receiver assembly screen (LandCruiser RM000005CJ3003X.html).

  1. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the air conditioning system related customize parameters that are shown as customizable via the radio and display receiver assembly screen.

    OK:
    The items available for customization via the radio and display receiver assembly screen can be customized successfully using the GTS.
