DTC C1452 Accumulator Low Pressure

DESCRIPTION

DTC Code
DTC Detection Condition
Trouble Area
C1452
After braking, the fluid pressure inside the accumulator is less than the threshold within 3.2 seconds.
  1. Hydraulic circuit
  2. Master cylinder solenoid (Accumulator pressure sensor)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform calibration (LandCruiser RM00000452J00ZX.html).
1.CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS
  1. Check with the customer to determine if frequent braking has been performed.

2.RECONFIRM DTC
  1. Clear the DTC (LandCruiser RM0000046KV016X.html).

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Depress the brake pedal more than 40 times.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Wait for 99 seconds.

  1. Check if the same DTC is output (LandCruiser RM0000046KV016X.html).

    A
Frequent braking was not performed and DTC is not output
    B
Frequent braking was performed and DTC is not output
    C

    HINT:
Excessive brake pedal operation results in abnormal accumulator pressure consumption. This is normal.

3.CHECK HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
  1. Check the hydraulic circuit (LandCruiser RM0000012XP02OX.html).

    OK:
Hydraulic circuit is normal (no leakage).

NG
REPAIR HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
OK

4.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (ACCUMULATOR SENSOR)
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.

If the value is constant regardless of the pump operation, an accumulator pressure sensor malfunction is suspected.
  1. Check that the accumulator output value is normal.

    OK:
Accumulator pressure sensor value is normal.
