Front Upper Suspension Arm Removal


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

  3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH

Front Upper Suspension Arm -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE

  1. Disconnect the connector from the front speed sensor.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.

  1. Detach the clip.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.



  1. Disconnect the connector as follows.

    1. for LH:

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Detach the connector.

    2. for RH:

      1. Disconnect the connector.
      2. Detach the connector from the skid control sensor clamp.
      3. Detach the clip.
      4. Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp.


3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Support the front suspension lower arm LH with a jack.

  1. Remove the clip and nut.

  1. Using SST, disconnect the upper ball joint from the steering knuckle.

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket.

  1. Remove the bolt, 2 washers and nut.

  1. Remove the front suspension upper arm assembly.
