Front Upper Suspension Arm -- Removal |
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL |
2. REMOVE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE |
Disconnect the connector from the front speed sensor.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.
Detach the clip.
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.

Disconnect the connector as follows.
Text in Illustration *A for LH *B for RH for LH:
- Disconnect the connector.
- Detach the connector.
- Disconnect the connector.
for RH:
- Disconnect the connector.
- Detach the connector from the skid control sensor clamp.
- Detach the clip.
- Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp.
- Disconnect the connector.
3. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH |
Support the front suspension lower arm LH with a jack.

Remove the clip and nut.
Using SST, disconnect the upper ball joint from the steering knuckle.

Remove the bolt and disconnect the bracket.

Remove the bolt, 2 washers and nut.

Remove the front suspension upper arm assembly.
