Counter Gear Reassembly

Using SST and a press, install the front bearing to the counter gear.

NOTICE:

Install the front bearing so that the snap ring groove of the bearing faces the front side.

Select a snap ring that makes the clearance between the counter gear and snap ring to be within the specification.

Standard clearance:

0.10 mm (0.00394 in.) or less

Snap Ring Thickness:

Thickness

2.10 mm (0.0827 in.)

2.15 mm (0.0846 in.)

2.20 mm (0.0866 in.)

2.25 mm (0.0886 in.)

2.30 mm (0.0906 in.)

2.35 mm (0.0925 in.)

Using a snap ring expander, install the snap ring.
