Fuel Sedimenter Warning Switch -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL LEVEL WARNING SWITCH |
Install a new warning switch gasket to the level warning switch.
Apply fuel to the warning switch gasket of the level warning switch.
Install the level warning switch to the fuel filter element and tighten it by hand.
| 2. INSTALL FUEL FILTER COVER |
Install the fuel filter gasket and fuel filter cover to the fuel filter element assembly.
Tighten the bolt.
- Torque:
- 3.4 N*m{35 kgf*cm, 30 in.*lbf}
Attach the level warning switch connector clamp to the fuel filter cap.
| 3. INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY |
Install the fuel filter assembly with the 2 nuts.
- Torque:
- 18 N*m{184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf}
Connect the fuel hose, No. 1 fuel hose sub-assembly, No. 3 fuel hose and No. 2 fuel hose to the fuel filter assembly, and slide the 4 clamps to secure the hoses.
Connect the 2 connectors.
