Fuel Pressure Regulator Installation


  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

  2. CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK

Fuel Pressure Regulator -- Installation



1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155.1Gr-Fe Fuel.Fuel System.Fuel Pressure Regulator  Installation
  1. Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pressure regulator.

    New O-Ring
  1. Install the fuel pressure regulator with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
  1. Connect the vacuum hose.



2. CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Connect the No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly (LandCruiser RM0000028RU05JX.html).



3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK
  1. Install the intake air surge tank (LandCruiser RM00000456B015X.html).



4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
  1. Make sure that there are no fuel leaks after performing maintenance on the fuel system.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester on.

      NOTICE:
      Do not start the engine.
    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump / Speed.

    4. Check that there are no leaks from the fuel system.
      If there are fuel leaks, repair or replace parts as necessary.

    5. Turn the engine switch off.

    6. Disconnect the intelligent tester from the DLC3.
