Fuel Pressure Regulator Removal


  1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

Fuel Pressure Regulator -- Removal



1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
  1. Discharge the fuel system pressure (LandCruiser RM0000028RU05JX.html).



2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
  1. After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (LandCruiser RM000003YMD00TX.html).
  2. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).


3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK
  1. Remove the intake air surge tank (LandCruiser RM00000456D014X.html).



4. DISCONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly (LandCruiser RM0000028RU05JX.html).



5. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose.



    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pressure regulator.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pressure regulator.
