Drive Belt Removal


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)

  2. REMOVE VISCOUS HEATER V BELT (w/ Viscous Heater)

  3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

Drive Belt -- Removal



1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Viscous Heater)


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly.



2. REMOVE VISCOUS HEATER V BELT (w/ Viscous Heater)


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Loosen the 2 bolts.



    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Turn the bolt to loosen the viscous heater V belt and reduce the tension. Then remove the viscous heater V belt.



3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Rotate the tensioner pulley clockwise to loosen the fan and generator V belt and reduce the tension. Then remove the fan and generator V belt.
