Mass Air Flow Meter On-Vehicle Inspection

Read the value using the GTS (MAF).

NOTICE:

Perform the inspection of the intake mass air flow meter sub-assembly while it is installed to the air cleaner cap sub-assembly (installed to the vehicle).

1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
   

2. Start the engine.
   

3. Turn the GTS on.
   

4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / MAF.
   

5. Wait for 30 seconds, and read the value on the GTS.
   

   1. w/o Urea SCR System: (LandCruiser RM0000012X109TX.html)
      
   2. w/ Urea SCR System: (LandCruiser RM0000012X109SX.html)
      
   If the result is not as specified, replace the intake mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
   If the result is within the specified range, inspect the intake mass air flow meter sub-assembly (LandCruiser RM000002WMW01VX_01_0001.html).
