Ecm Installation


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

  3. INSTALL ECM

  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  5. PERFORM REGISTRATION

  6. START ENGINE

Ecm -- Installation



1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

  1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    3.0 N*m{31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf}


2. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

  1. Install the No. 1 ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    3.0 N*m{31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf}


3. INSTALL ECM

  1. Install the ECM with the bolt and nut.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the 6 connectors.



4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the glove compartment door (LandCruiser RM0000046J600OX_01_0017.html).



5. PERFORM REGISTRATION

  1. Perform registration (LandCruiser RM0000012XK0ARX.html).

    HINT:
    Only perform registration when the ECM is replaced, either by itself or in any of the following combinations.
    1. ECM and Fuel Supply Pump
    2. ECM and Diesel Throttle Body Assembly
    3. ECM and Injector Assembly
    4. ECM and Engine Assembly


6. START ENGINE

  1. When replacing the ECM, start the engine to initialize the new ECM (LandCruiser RM000000TIN08CX.html).
