  2. INSTALL ECM BRACKET

  3. INSTALL ECM

  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

Ecm -- Installation



1. INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
  1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket with the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    3.0 N*m{31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf}


2. INSTALL ECM BRACKET
  1. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

    Torque:
    3.0 N*m{31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf}


3. INSTALL ECM
  1. Install the ECM with the bolt and nut.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}
  1. Connect the 6 connectors.



4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
  1. Install the glove compartment door (LandCruiser RM0000046J600OX.html).



5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTICE:
Perform the following procedure after replacing the throttle body with motor assembly or any throttle body components. The following procedure should also be performed if the throttle body with motor assembly is cleaned.
  1. for Manual Transmission:
    Disconnect the EFI and ETCS fuses at the same time. Wait at least 60 seconds, and then reconnect the fuses.

  1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) without operating the accelerator pedal.

    NOTICE:
    If the accelerator pedal is operated, perform the above steps again.
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs (LandCruiser RM000000PDK1DIX.html).

  1. for Automatic Transmission:
    Perform "Inspection After Repairs" (LandCruiser RM000004NJC03SX.html).

  1. Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated and that the idle speed is within the specified range when the A/C is switched off after the engine is warmed up.

    Standard idle speed:
    690 to 790 rpm
    NOTICE:
    1. Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
    2. Make sure that the shift lever is in neutral.
  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data / Throttle Sensor Position. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value is 60% or more.

  1. Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
