Rear Door Glass Weatherstrip Removal


  1. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

  2. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

Rear Door Glass Weatherstrip -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 2 clips and 2 claws.

  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.



2. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Remove the screw and door pull handle.



3. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Detach the 10 clips and remove the rear door trim board.



4. REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP LH

  1. Put protective tape around the rear door outer glass weatherstrip.
