  1. Horizontally fix the stay in a vise with the piston-rod pulled out.

  1. Using a metal saw, gradually cut any area between A an B to release the gas.

    Standard measurement:

    CAUTION:
    As metal debris may be blown outward by the gas, you must:
    1. Wear protective glasses.
    2. Cover the area being cut.
