Front Power Seat Motor Assembly (For Reclining) Inspection


  1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)

  2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)

Front Power Seat Motor Assembly (For Reclining) -- Inspection



1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (w/o Front Seat Side Airbag)


  1. Check the operation of the power seat motor.



      Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.Seat.Front Power Seat Motor Assembly (For Reclining).Front Power Seat Motor Assembly (For Reclining) Inspection

    1. Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

    2. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

      OK:
      Measurement Condition
      		Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      		Motor gear rotates clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 2
      		Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
      If the result is not as specified, replace the power seat motor assembly.


2. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


  1. Check the operation of the front seatback.

    1. Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

    2. Check that the seatback moves smoothly as follows.

      OK:
      Measurement Condition
      		Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      		Forward
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 2
      		Backward
      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback assembly.
