  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front LH, w/Regulator)

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front RH, w/Regulator)

  3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH, w/Regulator)

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH, w/Regulator)

Power Window Regulator Motor -- Inspection


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
  2. The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front LH, w/Regulator)

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

    NOTICE:
    Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

  1. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

    OK:
    Measurement Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → 2
    Battery negative (-) → 1
    		Arm of window regulator rotates clockwise (Up)
    Battery positive (+) → 1
    Battery negative (-) → 2
    		Arm of window regulator rotates counterclockwise (Down)
    1. If the result is not as specified, replace the front door window regulator sub-assembly.


2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front RH, w/Regulator)

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

    1. If the result is not as specified, replace the front door window regulator sub-assembly.


3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH, w/Regulator)

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

  1. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

    Battery positive (+) → 2

    1. If the result is not as specified, replace the rear door window regulator sub-assembly.


4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH, w/Regulator)

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
