Headlight Assembly (For Hid Headlight) Reassembly


  1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH

  2. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  3. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET

  4. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  5. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB

  7. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

  8. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Headlight Assembly (For Hid Headlight) -- Reassembly


CAUTION:
Make sure that the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH is not connected or hot before reassembling the headlight control ECU sub-assembly.
HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT BRACKET LH

  1. Install the headlight bracket LH with the 2 screws.



2. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

  1. Install the front turn signal light bulb to the front turn signal light socket.



3. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Turn the front turn signal light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the front turn signal light socket.



4. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

  1. Install the clearance light bulb to the clearance light socket.



5. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT SOCKET


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Turn the clearance light socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install the clearance light bulb.



6. INSTALL NO. 2 HEADLIGHT BULB


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Turn the No. 2 headlight bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install No. 2 headlight bulb to the headlight unit LH.



7. INSTALL DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Set the discharge headlight bulb to the headlight assembly LH.

  1. Lock the set spring as shown in the illustration to install the discharge headlight bulb.



8. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50

  1. Turn the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH socket in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to connect the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH socket.

    NOTICE:
    1. Make sure that no dirt or other foreign matter adheres to the headlight gasket, and that the headlight gasket is not damaged. If the headlight gasket is damaged, water can enter the headlight which can lead to malfunctions in the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH.
    2. Do not pull the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH while the socket is connected.
    3. After installing the socket, confirm that the cord is not twisted, and then store the cord inside the headlight in such a way so that it is not pinched.

  1. Turn the headlight control ECU sub-assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.
