Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
- Standard resistance:

|
If the result is not as specified, replace the belt assembly.

Measure the resistance of the buckle switch.
- HINT:
- Before performing the buckle switch check, perform the previous step (inspect occupant detection sensor) to make sure the occupant detection sensor is functioning normally.
- Standard resistance:

| Seat belt is unfastened and more than 147 N (15 kgf, 33 lbf) of force is applied to occupant detection sensor

| No force applied to occupant detection sensor

If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
| 3. INSPECT OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR |
Measure the resistance of the sensor.
- Standard resistance:

| More than 147 N (15 kgf, 33 lbf) applied to occupant detection sensor

| No force applied to occupant detection sensor

If the result is not as specified, replace the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad).
| 4. INSPECT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/o Accessory Meter) |
Check the illumination area of the seat belt warning light.
- OK:
