1. REMOVE COOLER BRACKET

  1. Detach the clamp.

  1. Remove the screw and cooler bracket.



2. REMOVE MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

  1. Type A:

    1. Clamp the cooler compressor in a vise between aluminum plates.

    2. Using SST, hold the magnet clutch hub.

    3. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washer(s).

      HINT:
      There is no set number of magnet clutch washers since they are used for adjusting.

  1. Type B:

    1. Clamp the cooler compressor in a vise between aluminum plates.

    2. Connect the battery to the magnet clutch assembly as shown in the illustration to fix the hub and rotor in place.

    3. Wrap the drive belt around the rotor and securely hold it in place by hand.

    4. Remove the bolt, magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch washer(s).

      HINT:
      There is no set number of magnet clutch washers since they are used for adjusting.

  1. Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch rotor.

    NOTICE:
    Do not damage the seal cover of the bearing when removing the snap ring.

  1. Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring and magnet clutch stator.
