Front Brake Flexible Hose Removal


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL CYLINDER TUBE LH

Front Brake Flexible Hose -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
  2. The procedures listed below are for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.


3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Disconnect the brake tube and wheel cylinder tube from the flexible hose with a union nut wrench while holding the flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not bend or damage the brake tube and wheel cylinder tube.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.
  1. Remove the 2 clips and flexible hose.



4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL CYLINDER TUBE LH


Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Using a union nut wrench, remove the wheel cylinder tube from the brake cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not bend or damage the wheel cylinder tube.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the wheel cylinder tube from the connecting points.
