Deceleration Sensor (W/ Abs) Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE DECELERATION SENSOR

Deceleration Sensor (W/ Abs) -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
  1. Remove the front seat (Toyota Fortuner RM000000Z8U004X.html).



3. REMOVE DECELERATION SENSOR

  1. Remove the bolt and sensor cover.



    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Disconnect the deceleration sensor connector.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and deceleration sensor.
