DTC C1210 Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone |
DTC C1336 Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone |
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate sensor assembly via the CAN communication system. The yaw rate sensor assembly has a built-in acceleration sensor. If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate sensor assembly and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are stored.DTC C1210 and C1336 are also stored when calibration has not been completed.DTC Code
| DTC Detection Condition
| Trouble Area
|
C1210
| Zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor is incomplete.
| - Yaw rate sensor assembly
- Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)
|
C1336
| Zero point calibration of the acceleration sensor is incomplete.
| - Acceleration sensor (Yaw rate sensor assembly)
- Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)
|
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- After replacing the brake actuator assembly and/or yaw rate sensor assembly, perform calibration (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHR06WX.html).
- HINT:
- When DTC U0123 and/or U0124 is output along with DTC C1210 and/or C1336, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123 and/or U0124 first (Toyota Fortuner RM000000YUO0DYX.html).
1.PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR |
Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHR06WX.html).
2.PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Perform the sensor check in the Test Mode procedure (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHT08TX.html).
- OK:
- All Test Mode DTCs are cleared.
- HINT:
- If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next suspected area (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHN0BDX.html).
3.CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Check that the yaw rate sensor assembly is installed properly (Toyota Fortuner RM000000SS204FX.html).
- OK:
- The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
- The sensor is not installed at an angle.
4.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DECELERATION SENSOR / YAW RATE
SENSOR) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.
ABS/VSC/TRCTester Display
