DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU measures the speed of each wheel by receiving signals from the speed sensors. These signals are used for recognizing whether all 4 wheels are operating properly. Therefore, all wheel signals must indicate the same speed.DTC Code

| When either condition below is met:
- Diameters of 2 front wheels different from diameters of 2 rear wheels.
- Wheel speed sensor fault.

- Tire sizes
- Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHR02TX.html).
Check if any DTCs relating to the speed sensor circuit are output (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHV03YX.html).

Check the tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.
- OK:
- All 4 tires are the same size and in the same condition.
| REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME SIZE |

Clear the DTC(s) (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHV03YX.html).
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (18 mph) or more for at least 30 seconds.
Check if the same DTC is detected.
