Clutch Pedal Removal


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1

  2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

Clutch Pedal -- Removal



1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL NO.1

HINT:
To prevent the clips from falling, horizontally pull out the panel. Hold both sides of the panel in the locations indicated by the arrows in the illustration.
  1. Remove the screw <C>.

  1. Detach the 6 claws and 4 clips.

    NOTICE:
    Make sure the center registers are not removed.
  1. Disconnect all connectors and remove the panel.



2. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
There are 2 types of combination meters. One type has a 40 pin connector and 16 pin connector. The other type only has a 40 pin connector.
  1. Remove the 3 screws.

  1. Disconnect all connectors and remove the combination meter.



3. REMOVE PUSH ROD CLEVIS PIN

  1. Remove the clip and pin.



4. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and clutch pedal.
