Ecm Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE ECM

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

Ecm -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag activation.


2. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Open the glove compartment door.

  1. While pushing in the sides of the glove compartment door as indicated by the arrows in the illustration, open the door to release it from the 2 stoppers.

  1. Open the door until it is horizontal.

  1. Pull the glove compartment door toward the rear of the vehicle to detach the 2 hinges and remove the glove compartment door.



3. REMOVE ECM


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

  1. Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and ECM.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

  1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.



5. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50.2Tr-Fe Engine Control System.Ecm.Ecm  Removal
  1. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
