Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly Installation
INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1)
INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2)
INSTALL THROTTLE BODY
INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE
INSTALL V-BANK COVER
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1) |
Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring of the oil control valve.
Install the oil control valve with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked when installing the oil control valve.
Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
| 2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2) |
Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring of the oil control valve.
Install the oil control valve with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Be careful that the O-ring is not cracked when installing the oil control valve.
Connect the oil control valve connector.
Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank.
Install the throttle position sensor and control motor connector.
- Torque:
- 11 N*m{112 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf}

- Torque:
- 8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}
| 5. INSTALL NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE |
- Torque:
- 7.5 N*m{76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf}
| 7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
