Integration Relay On-Vehicle Inspection


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER

  3. CHECK INTEGRATION NO.1 RELAY

  4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Integration Relay -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER


3. CHECK INTEGRATION NO.1 RELAY

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and disconnect the integration relay from the engine room junction block.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Measure the voltage of the MAIN relay.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    1J-8 - Body ground
    Ignition switch ON
    10 to 14 V
    If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.

  1. Measure the voltage of the C/OPN relay.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    1J-4 - Body ground
    Ignition switch ON
    10 to 14 V
    If the result is not as specified, replace the integration relay.


4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK COVER


5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
