Mass Air Flow Meter Removal


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER

  3. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER

Mass Air Flow Meter -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.


2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Remove the 2 nuts and V-bank cover.



3. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER


    Toyota Fortuner. Ggn50, 60 Kun51, 61 Tgn51 Lan50
  1. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.

  1. Remove the 2 screws and MAF meter.

  1. Remove the O-ring from the MAF meter.
