  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 INTAKE PIPE

  5. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

Air Switching Valve (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) -- Removal



1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.2Tr-Fe Emission Control.Emission Control System (W/ Secondary Air Injection System).Air Switching Valve (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) Removal

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

  1. Detach the wire harness clamp.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner.



2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the No. 4 air injection system hose.



3. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and heat insulator.



4. REMOVE NO. 4 INTAKE PIPE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 nuts, No. 4 intake pipe and 2 gaskets.



5. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Disconnect the air switching valve connector.

  1. Remove the 2 nuts and air switching valve assembly.
