Air Switching Valve (W/ Secondary Air Injection System) -- Removal |
| 1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
 |
Detach the wire harness clamp.
Loosen the hose clamp.
Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner.
| 2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE |
Loosen the clamp and disconnect the No. 4 air injection system hose.
 |
| 3. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR |
Remove the 5 bolts and heat insulator.
 |
| 4. REMOVE NO. 4 INTAKE PIPE |
Remove the 4 nuts, No. 4 intake pipe and 2 gaskets.
 |
| 5. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY |
Disconnect the air switching valve connector.
 |
Remove the 2 nuts and air switching valve assembly.
