POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (for Sedan) - Only Rear Door LH LOCK / UNLOCK Functions do not Operate


DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives lock/unlock switch signals and activates the door lock motor accordingly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Apply the battery voltage to the door lock motor and check the operation of the door lock motor.

    OK:
    Measurement Condition
    Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1
    Lock
    Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
    Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4
    Unlock

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - REAR DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH)

  1. Disconnect the 4A main body ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the I3 door lock connector.

  1. Measure the resistance.

    Standard resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    4A-3 (ACT+) - I3-4 (L)
    Below 1 Ω
    4A-4 (ACT-) - I3-1 (UL)
    Below 1 Ω
  1. Reconnect the main body ECU connector.

  1. Reconnect the door lock connector.
