DESCRIPTION

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SET INDICATOR LIGHT)

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH)

CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM (for Hatchback) - Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit


DESCRIPTION

When the ECM detects a cruise control main switch "on" signal from the cruise control main switch, it sends it to the combination meter through CAN communication. Then the cruise control SET indicator light turns on.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
First perform the communication function inspections in How to Proceed with Troubleshooting to confirm that there are no CAN communication malfunctions before troubleshooting this problem.
1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SET INDICATOR LIGHT)

  1. Using the Techstream, perform the Active Test (YARIS_NCP93 RM0000044B200NX.html).

    Combination Meter
    Tester Display

    		Vehicle is stopped and engine is idling

    OK:
    Indicator light turns on/off.
