Front Seat Assembly (For Bench Seat Type) Reassembly

Clean the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH surface.

Install a new front seat cushion edge protector RH as shown in the illustration.

Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

Attach the claw to install the outer vertical adjuster bracket cover.

Install the screw.

Install the reclining adjuster outside cover LH with the screw.

Attach the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

Install the screw.

Attach the hook and claw to install the front seat inner cushion shield RH.

Install the 2 screws.

Attach the guide to install the center seat hinge cover.

Install the screw.

Remove any double-sided tape remaining on the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH.

Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

Install the front seatback protector.

Install the separate type front seatback pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH.

Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
   
2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
   

Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Attach the fastening tape and hook.

Using hog ring pliers, attach the 2 straps of the separate type front seatback cover to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster RH with new hog rings.

Using hog ring pliers, attach the separate type front seatback cover with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
   
2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
   

Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
   
2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
   

Using a tacker, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with a new tack pin as shown in the illustration.

Attach the hook.

Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

Attach the claw to install the connector holder.

Set the front seat cushion cover with pad in place.

Attach the 2 clamps to install the connector holder.

Attach the hooks to install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

NOTICE:

1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
   
2. When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
   

Install the clip.

Return the 2 cushion edge tabs to their original positions.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to break the cushion edge tabs.

Install the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH to the front seatback inside pad RH.

Install the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH with the front seatback inside pad RH.

Attach the hook to close the front seatback side cover sub-assembly RH.

Install the front seat armrest hole board cover to the seat armrest assembly RH.

Install the seat armrest assembly RH with the bolt.

Torque:

37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

Install the inner seat bracket assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

Lift up the seat armrest assembly RH and place it in the normal seating position.

Attach the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

Install the 2 screws.

Attach the 2 hooks to install the front seat hinge cover RH.

Install the 2 screws.

Twist the front seat hinge knob in the direction indicated by the arrow to install it.

Attach the guide and clip.

Attach the claw and hook to install the front seat cushion shield RH.

Install the screw.

Attach the 2 rubber bands.

Attach the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle RH.

Pass the front seat inner belt assembly RH through the band of the front seat cushion cover as shown in the illustration.

Install the front seat inner belt assembly RH to the front seat assembly RH with the nut.

Torque:

42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}

NOTICE:

Make sure that the protruding part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH is not positioned on top of the frame.

Attach the 3 wire harness clamps and connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

Install the front seat assembly RH (LandCruiser RM00000390Q01CX.html).

Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
