Front Seat Assembly (For Bench Seat Type) -- Installation |
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- HINT:
- Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
- The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
| 1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH |
Place the front seat assembly RH in the cabin.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Pass the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly through the hole of the front seat cushion to the surface.
- NOTICE:
- Do not twist the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly.

Pass the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly through the rubber band of the front seat inner belt assembly RH.

Connect the anchor part of the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 42 N*m{428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf}
- NOTICE:
- Do not pinch the carpet.
Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp under the seat.
Temporarily install the front seat assembly RH with the 4 bolts.
Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the foremost position.
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}

| 2. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the inner seat track bracket cover RH.
| 3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the seat track cover RH.
| 4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH |
Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.
Attach the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover RH.
| 5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover RH.
| 6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY |
Install the front seat headrest assembly.
