DESCRIPTION

DTC C1282/82 can be cleared when the center differential lock position switch (transfer indicator switch No. 3) sends a center differential lock position switch (transfer indicator switch No. 3) signal or the test mode ends.

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (Toyota Fortuner RM000000XHR02TX.html).
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK POSITION SWITCH)

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the center differential lock position switch.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Condition
    Specified Condition
    S25-20 (EXI) - T4-2
    Always
    Below 1 Ω
    S25-20 (EXI) - Body ground
    Always
    10 kΩ or higher
    T4-1 - Body ground

    S25-20 (EXI) - Body ground
    Ignition switch ON
    8 to 14 V
