Fuel Injection Pump Disassembly
MOUNT INJECTION PUMP ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 4 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE
REMOVE FUEL FILTER TO INJECTION PUMP FUEL PIPE
REMOVE TIMING CONTROL VALVE
REMOVE FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
REMOVE DISTRIBUTIVE HEAD PLUG
REMOVE DELIVERY VALVE
Fuel Injection Pump -- Disassembly |
| 1. MOUNT INJECTION PUMP ASSEMBLY |
Mount the injection pump to SST.

| 2. REMOVE NO. 4 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE |
Remove the overflow screw, nozzle leakage pipe and 2 washers.
| 3. REMOVE FUEL FILTER TO INJECTION PUMP FUEL PIPE |
Remove the cap nut, fuel pipe and 2 washers.
Remove the fuel inlet hollow screw and washer.
| 4. REMOVE TIMING CONTROL VALVE |
Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and timing control valve.
| 5. REMOVE FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR |
Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the fuel temperature sensor.
| 6. REMOVE DISTRIBUTIVE HEAD PLUG |
Using SST, remove the distributive head plug.

Using SST, remove the 4 delivery valve holders and springs.
- SST
- 09260-54012(09269-54020)
Remove the 4 delivery valves and gaskets.
- NOTICE:
- Do not touch the sliding surfaces of the delivery valves with your hand.
- HINT:
- Arrange the delivery valves, springs, and holders in the order they were removed.
