This DTC is stored if the multi-media module receiver assembly judges that the signals or signal lines between the multi-media module receiver assembly and the rear television camera assembly are not normal as a result of its self check.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

For parking assist monitor system (w/o Side Monitor System) diagnosis, signals received by the multi-media module receiver assembly can be checked and the parking assist monitor system (w/o Side Monitor System) can be calibrated, adjusted and checked using the multi-media module receiver assembly.

Disconnect the S5 rear television camera assembly connector.

This parking assist monitor system (w/o Side Monitor System) can be adjusted using the diagnostic screen of the display.

When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display assembly, correct the steering angle neutral point using the following method.

Measure the battery voltage.

• Standard voltage:
• 11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the battery before proceeding.
